Module 1: Introduction to the Business Architecture Approach
The goal of this module is to provide participants with a high-level understanding of what the business architecture approach is and how it helps organizations formulate, implement and execute a winning strategy. To achieve this goal, this module covers the following topics:
- The key groups of activities required to formulate, implement and execute a strategy
- The root causes of the difficulties organizations face during their strategic endeavors
- The missing link, the business architecture approach, and its three key components
- The relationship between business architecture and enterprise architecture
- Integrating the business architecture approach to the strategy formulation, implementation and execution activities
- The benefits of the business architecture approach
Module 2: Introduction to Strategy Formulation
The goal of this module is to give participants an overview of how organizations should go about formulating a strategy. To achieve this goal, this module covers the following topics:
- What is a complete strategy
- The components of a complete strategic plan (i.e., the ASATE Group Strategic Plan Framework)
- The codification of the strategic plan
- The strategy formulation process
Module 3: Key Concepts at the Heart of a Business Architecture
The goal of this module is to give participants a good understanding of all the key concepts needed to design a target business architecture. To achieve this goal, this module covers the following topics:
